Youth and Community Development Trust

The purpose and aims of the trust, as set out in the trust deed, "are to obtain funds and devote or apply both the capital and income of the trust funds to or for any valid charitable purposes in New Zealand which are from time to time selected by the trustees. Without limiting this in any way such purposes would be: (a) to work for the benefit and well being of the community as a whole with a primary, but not exclusive, focus on youth, (b) to educate, work with and assist young people, and develop youth leadership, (c) to resource initiatives that give involvement and responsibility to youth in New Zealand."
