Who can claim a charity profile?
Any officer, trustee, or staff member of the charity. If your email matches the charity website domain, you verify instantly. Otherwise we review your claim manually within 24 hours.
What data is pre-filled?
We auto-populate from Charities Services public records: financials (up to 9 years), officers/trustees, executive compensation, service providers, documents, ICNPO sector classification, and your rating. You only need to add programs, impact metrics, and photos.
Can someone else claim our charity?
Only one person can hold the claim per charity. If your email domain matches your charity website, you verify instantly. Non-matching emails require our manual approval — we check the person is genuinely associated with the charity.
What can I do once claimed?
View who visits your profile (analytics), understand your rating breakdown, get specific improvement suggestions to raise your grade, and submit data corrections for priority review.
How do I improve our rating?
The Improvements tab shows personalised recommendations ranked by impact — things like filing annual returns on time, adding a website URL, or explaining high reserves. Each suggestion shows estimated points gained.
