Mission: Whanau Tupu Ngatahi - Families growing together. Playcentre is for all tamariki from 0-6 years. Tikorangi Playcentre is the only Early Childhood Education Service in its area providing a rich learning environment and supports children and their families and empowers them to learn, play and grow together in our small community. We are a parent co-operative providing friendship, support and free early childhood education to parents through our Playcentre education structure. Playcentre works alongside our local school and other community groups and entities and the skills learned by parents are transferrable to the home environment, other community groups and the work place. Children who attend our playcentre have a strong sense of their community that surrounds them and they know they have a place. Friendships made at Playcentre and skill learned can last a life time and strengthen our community as a whole.
