Matamata Playcentre is a Trust charity in the Education sector, based in Matamata, Matamata. Annual revenue: $0.1M NZD. Financial data as at August 2016.
Mission: Matamata Playcentre believes parents are the best first teachers for our children and because we all have different skills and resources with these strengths combined we can provide our children with a wide and varied playcentre experience within session times and this flows on with the friendships formed at centre to outside session times also. Running as a parent cooperative, we rely on one another a lot and we try to be supportive by having "Support Co-ordinators" elected to make sure families with newborns and families who may have experienced a difficult time are cooked for, baked for, and made aware that their children can be picked up and brought to Playcentre for a bit of "time out." Matamata Playcentre is a place where Parents/Caregivers/Whanau can learn and grow alongside their children and by taking part in the education programmes available to them it has great benefits at centre and at home in a non competitive way with flexible time frames.
