To encourage tangata whenua, young & old to develop pride & participate in all aspects of Marae development, their heritage, pride in their whanau, Hapu & Iwi. Figuratively speaking "kia kotahi te hoe" Trustees to identify the Marae goals in sequence of importance, budget for, and address accordingly, for the objectives to be achieved. Trustees to ensure Taihoa Marae is a priority. To comply with appointment, appraisal, discipline procedures, as to Te Ture Whenua Act 1993, Section 338 & the Maori Reservations Regulations 1994. The Marae buildings, facilities & grounds and trees are to be maintained at all times to comply to the many bylaws and sections of the Resource Management Act 1991 administered by both WDC & HBRC & others who have delegated powers from Government or their agencies.
