St. John the Baptist's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Christian Church is established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance the Jacobite Syrian Christian tradition by -Establish church and conduct holy worship and such religious activities that may be part of constitution -Providing religious educations such as Sunday school programs -To undertake or partake in community development programs for the social welfare and spiritual development of the public in New Zealand
