Mission: The following are extracts from the Trust Deed and Trustees Handbook. The primary objective and purpose for which the GGTB is established is to promote the Christian faith by providing financial assistance to the Lutheran Church of New Zealand (LCNZ) to enable the LCNZ to fulfill its charitable objectives and purposes which include but are not limited to: a) providing resources to assist the LCNZ to fulfill the mission of the Christian Church in the world by proclaiming The Word of God and administering the sacraments in accordance with the Confessions of The Lutheran Church. b) providing resources for the training, equipping and oversight of Pastors, leaders and church workers and all the people of God, for service in congregations and other ministries of the LCNZ. c) Providing resources for the establishment, development, support and oversight of new and existing Congregations. d) providing resources to minister to human needs and care for the environment in the name of the Lord.
