Rotary Club Of Timaru Charitable Trust

(a) To conduct and carry on in South Canterbury or elsewhere in New Zealand any health, educational, social or welfare activity that is Charitable within the revenue laws of New Zealand and consistent with the ideals and objectives of Rotary International. (b) To support and encourage financially or otherwise any group or body corporate or individual person in carrying out such Charitable object. (c) To assist and support directly or indirectly any activity that improves or maintains the health, education or welfare of persons living in South Canterbury or New Zealand or overseas (so long as any overseas destination or use strictly complies with New Zealand charitable criteria acceptable to the Inland Revenue Department. (d) To assist and support directly or indirectly educational and training programmes that are designed to attain the above Charitable objectives. (e) To incorporate as a Board under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.
