Ngai Tahu Matauranga Trust

The purposes of the Trust are to assist and fund Ngai Tahu Development Corporation Limited in the provision of promotion, for the benefit of Ngai Tahu Whanui of (a) furthering the education of students who are financially or socially disadvantaged, or both, and/or (b) assisting in the development of employment opportunities in the form of training and vocational skills courses, work schemes or otherwise, and/or (c) education and research whether relating to work skills, social or cultural skills, activities and responsibilities or otherwise, and/or (d) without restricting the scope of the foregoing, to provide scholarships, financial assistance, clothing, books, equipment, use of facilities, counselling and other appropriate assistance to students.
