Mainly Music International Trust

To act as the umbrella organisation for mainly music's worldwide structure. Started in 1990, mainly music is a fun music group for parents or primary caregivers to enjoy together with their child. Four levels of connection are achieved through mainly music : 1) Children connect with musical concepts, develop their gross and fine motor skills, numeracy and literacy skills 2) Children and parents connect, one-on-one, while interacting with the music. 3) Parents connect with other parents during morning tea. Children connect with other children during the play time. Social interaction at both levels is extremely valuable. mainly music team members connect parents sharing parenting ideas and support. 4) Families connect with the local church, the sponsor of the mainly music session by offering support through food banks, counselling services, spiritual growth and the provision of a 'friendship community'.
