Mission: The Dallington Community Trust (DCT) operated the Dallington Community Craft Shop & Drop-in Centre until the shop closure in January 2023. Until the shop closure, the DCT offered a base for local residents to work together in ways that foster their sense of community pride, identity and unity. Since closure of the shop, the DCT have sought other ways to achieve the goal of empowering the community, breaking down isolation and loneliness and tackling issues affecting the Dallington Community. This has been through holding monthly Coffee Mornings, running kids Christmas and Easter Treasure Hunts, and running a series of Street BBQs. During the last year these have been assisted with help from the Dallington Residents Association (DRA). In return the DCT Chair has helped with DRA events (Skip Day & carols in Burwood Park)
