To provide a monthly forum for the nominated representatives of all refugee communities in the Waikato Region. To provide a coherent and cohesive voice the refugee communities in the region by participating in the local and national refugee resettlement discussion forums. To share ideas, exchange information and network with key stakeholders such as NGOs and government agencies on refugee resettlement issues. To provide clear and objective information about resettlement of needs of refugees in the region. To collaborate with key stakeholders in initiatives or programs aimed at enhancing positive resettlement outcomes for the refugee communities in the region. To support the empowerment of refugee communities in the region through capacity building initiatives leading to positive resettlement outcomes.
