Vietnamese Community in New Zealand Incorporated

The Society is established to support the development of a strong Vietnamese community in New Zealand. This is achieved through a number of current and proposed activities. These activities can be divided into four key categories: Category 1: Developing and reinforcing Vietnamese language and culture for Vietnamese people and children living in New Zealand. (the VietkidsNZ project) Category 2: Building a strong and closely knitted Vietnamese community containing Vietnamese families and adults who have an understanding and appreciation of the value of preserving Vietnamese traditions and how these traditions add to the cultural richness and diversity of New Zealand. Category 3: Integrating Vietnamese culture into New Zealand society and enrich New Zealand’s cultural diversity.
