To promote and provide schemes for education, education opportunities and for employment opportunities for the socially disadvantaged, including Maori and Pacific Island people and physically and mentally incapable people. To promote and make provision for the psychological, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the community and to provide family and community activities directed towards the social cohesion of community.
