The North Taranaki Neighbourhood Support Trust

The North Taranaki Neighbourhood Support Trust assists the North Taranaki community by providing support to people made vulnerable through crime. The Trust's main focus is to create safe, connected and resilient communities. Our Field Officer contacts and visits victims of crime regarding setting up or updating a Neighbourhood Support Group while providing crime prevention advice and reassurance. The Trust works closely with the Police and other organisations to provide timely, relevant and accurate information to the community to reduce crime, improve safety, and prepare for civil emergencies and natural disasters.
