2. The objects of the Society shall be: (a) To promote and develop the art of the theatre in all its aspects, both for its own sake and also as a means of recreation for members and the Community. (b) To undertake the presentation of plays and other dramatic work, both in public and privately before members. (c) To encourage and stimulate the writing, producing, acting, mounting and presenting of plays and the reading and broadcasting of plays and all other activities related thereto. (d) To stimulate by arranging lectures, classes and schools and by other means the study and practice of dramatic arts. (e) To establish and maintain a library of literature connected with the objects of the Society for the use of members and others. (f) To act in co-operation with any other Society, League or Institution for the promotion of furtherance of all or any of the objects of the Society. (g) The activities of the Society shall be limited to those in New Zealand
