To foster and develop Te Aho Matua of Total Immersion Māori Schools. To support families who believe in and practise the philosophy of total immersion. To ensure the philosophy of Total Immersion Māori Schools becomes the responsibility of Te Rūnanga. To endorse families who believe their children should speak Māori and only a Kaupapa Māori School can achieve this philosophy. To ensure the Māori language and customs survive. To ensure Māori people are able to affirm their tino rangatiratana.
