The objects for which the Trust is established are to receive, hold, manage and administer the Trust Fund for every Charitable Purpose and including without limitation: (a) to ensure there is a Māori voice in the reform of the justice system; (b) to reduce and / or eliminate discrimination against Māori in the justice system; and (c) to improve justice outcomes for whānau Māori and ensure that the system focuses on healing and restoration Per cl. 2.4 of the Trust Deed.
