Te Hāpai Hoe Charitable Trust

To work with vulnerable people and at risk youth in the Taranaki area, with a view to keep them out of the youth justice system, through the experience and culture of waka. To mentor at risk youth through experiential learning both on and off the water and to encourage open discussion between the mentor and mentee. To educate the at risk youth about their culture and heritage to promote a sense of pride and belonging.
