The John Edmond Centennial Scholarship Trust Fund

This Trust was established by deed on 19th February 1964 by John Edmond Limited. On 17th August 1978 a Deed of Amendment was executed to substantially change the original deed, removing the fixed sum, altering recipients to those studying in the joinery or carpentry trades at Otago Polytechnic, Southland Community College and the Senior Technical division of Timaru College (now Aoraki Polytechnic). A further amendment on 16th June 1998 left the awarding of scholarships at the Trustee's sole discretion.
