Tawa Baptist Church

The Tawa Baptist Church's principle objects and functions are: • the establishment and extension of God's kingdom in this world • to foster and to engage in Christian mission both in New Zealand and overseas • to meet regularly for Christian worship, prayer, teaching and the proclamation of Biblical truth, and otherwise for Christian fellowship and encouragement • to express the love of God to the wider community by any appropriate means including ministries according with Christ's teaching and providing practical care • to foster and encourage Christian discipleship in faith, hope and love and to bring people into membership of the Church; and • to inspire, foster and nurture Christian spirituality and an active Christian spiritual growth within the Church's community.
