About
Mission
The purpose of the Society is to foster the study, appreciation and performance of music, drama, literature, dance and any other art form. The primary means to achieve this is by holding an annual Competitions Festival in Tauranga, culminating in a Festival Concert - a showcase of Dance, Music, Singing and Drama. Also, suitable candidates are promoted to participate in the National Young Performer of the Year (NYPY) Awards run by the Performing Arts Competitions Association of NZ (PACANZ).
