Tauranga Jazz Society Incorporated

The Society is established and maintained exclusively for charitable purposes, namely to benefit the community by: 1. Encouraging and facilitating cultural expression through jazz Aotearoa New Zealand at local, national levels 2. Promoting and fostering the performance, education and appreciation of jazz music 3. The preservation of the annual National Jazz Festival Tauranga and the National Youth Jazz Competition 4. Cooperating with and further the objects of any other organisations whether incorporated or not whose objects are altogether or in part similar to thosie of this society 5. Representing and cultivating diversity, equity and inclusion 6. Any income, benefit, or advantage must be used to advance the charitable purposes of the Society.
