Tarimano Marae Trust

Tarimano Marae is not only a marae but is the centre of the universe for Ngati Rangiwewehi. It is the heart of the iwi and all that is Rangiwewehi generates from this domain. The marae is not just a meeting house, dining room and church sitting on a piece of land it is also Ngati Rangiwewehi’s government grounds, debating chambers, health and wellbeing centre, concert hall, playground, school room, and a home for its many visitors that has stayed there. Tarimano Marae Trust becomes reliant on volunteers and donations of goods, services and koha (in the form of money) to help offset costs to various activities associated with the marae.
