1. To promote the knowledge of, obtain funds for and assist in the carrying on of the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ within New Zealand. 2. To stand possessed of the assets from time to time owned by the company and any other property both real and personal of whatsoever nature and wheresover situate which the company may hereafter acquire or become possessed of generally for such one or more of the aforesaid charitable purposes within New Zealand and such other charitable purposes within New Zealand may from time to time determine and which may be good and valid charitable purposes recognised as such by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue.
