The principal purpose of the Trust is the advancement of the religion of Islam and the relief of poverty, to assist with the cost faith-based funeral in the South Canterbury region and its surrounding regions, for those individuals and families as identified by the trustees who do not have the financial means available to pay for such funerals, and provide an Islamic based funeral service for the South Canterbury region
