Mission: The Roxburgh Pioneer Energy Brass Band was founded in 1882 and has been part of the Roxburgh community ever since. Indeed it was a Municipal Band until 1993 getting financial support from the erstwhile Roxburgh Borough Council. As the only Brass Band in Central Otago we perform far and wide. Our members come from not only the Roxburgh area, but Cromwell, Alexandra and Wanaka. We are blessed with the services of a conductor who has a wealth of musical knowledge and ability. We enjoy playing out at ANZAC parades, free local outdoor concerts, Rest Home, playouts at Christmas time, Alexandra Blossom Festival and fundraising concerts.
