Collect, preserve and display items of historic interest about Puhoi and its people and to restore such items. Assist in identifying historical buildings and sites in the Puhoi and surrounding areas. Promote research in the above area and to encourage and assist others persons, societies and groups interested in furthering the Societies objectives. Increase public knowledge of Puhoi and its history and enhance the special identity of Puhoi. Honour and commemorate the settlement of Puhoi and its people.
