To apply or pay capital and income for or towards one or more of the following purposes: 1. improve communities general well being by raising awareness of dogs that do not have an owner and promoting the adoption of and care of such dogs; 2. to support rescue and welfare organisations which care for and re-home dogs; 3. to promote care for dogs; 4. to promote an educated and human public opinion on all matters concerning the welfare and humane treatment of dogs; 5. to promote responsible ownership of dogs; 6. help relieve suffering of dogs who are in need of care and attention and in particular to encourage provision of facilities for the reception and care of unwanted dogs and treatment of sick or ill-treated dogs; all things incidental to the charitable purposes described above.
