OANZ exists to unite and lead the organic sector in realising the sector's mission and vision. Specifically, it exists to perform core national level functions (policy development, analysis and advocacy; liaison with government agencies; internal and external communications; organic research and education support and development; generic promotion of organics) that are best delivered at the national level.
