To administer the Marae property, to regulate its use, and to ensure that it is properly maintained for the benefit of the Ngati-Ira o Waioeka hapu • To foster, promote, cultivate, organise and control Marae facilities, activities and amenities for the benefit of Nga Uri o Ngati-lra o Waioeka • To provide a Management Committee to manage the business of the Marae administration and its financial affairs • To provide a place to conduct hui, church services, tangi, hura kohatu and to celebrate birthdays, weddings and other functions • To provide a place for fundraising for its hapu and its members • To provide a place for manuhiri to rest or stay for periods of time. • To build, renovate, improve or beautify the Marae and its surroundings as required • To provide a place for the teaching of kawa and other cultural, tribal matter
