Mission
To help the community with any of the following: Fires; Motor Vehicle Accidents; Any Medical callouts. We are a Brigade consisting of all volunteers. Fire and Emergency NZ formed in July 2017, linking rural and “urban” services, to reduce the incidence and consequences of unwanted fire and to provide response to other emergencies. Omakau VFB is responsible for that in Omakau and the surrounding area.
