The charitable purpose of Whaotapu Trust is to preserve the integrity of Tohungatanga and Matauranga Maori; nurture participation and collaborative engagement with our Tohunga, Kainga Toi, and Artists; grow, generate, and provide opportunities for our Whaotapu Whanau and Creative Maori communities to create Taonga Toi in multiple media, both material and virtual, so that we can express ourselves and share our stories locally and globally.
