Our purpose is to provide the following services to the 48 RDA Groups: 1) Setting relevant and appropriate standards for RDA Groups and RDA specific roles through issuing policy and procedure to ensure the safety and effectiveness of RDA programmes. 2) Providing training and resources for RDA Groups to meet the standards. 3) Certification of RDA people and RDA Groups against the standards, primarily coaching qualifications and the RDA Group Operational Certificate. 4) Support to RDA Groups to meet standards, maintain their affiliation status and run operations effectively. 5) Marketing and Fundraising to support local RDA Group efforts. National Office manage national brand standards and fundraise to heavily subsidise the cost of providing the above services to RDA Groups. The goals of NZRDA are focused on developing the standard of RDA Group service provision, enhancing the skills of RDA Group staff and volunteers, and raising brand awareness.
