New Zealand League Against Epilepsy Incorporated

2.0 PURPOSE of the society: 2.1 To seek to establish and maintain effective communication, cooperation and support for all persons active in the field of medicine and related medical sciences, public health, and social care, who are, or may become, concerned with problems related to the epilepsies. 2.2 To promote improved standards of medical management of epilepsy in New Zealand. 2.3 To foster investigation and research in all aspects of epilepsy. 2.4 To disseminate and promote the exchange of information about epilepsy within New Zealand, and with similar bodies overseas. 2.5 To form the New Zealand chapter of the International League Against Epilepsy and become a member of that organisation.
