To provide educational support, resource information, networking, and a forum for providers of healthcare simulation education. This includes organizing conferences and meetings to share information on current and new teaching methods, research and future directions in healthcare simulation education. As well as supporting and promoting the professional development of individuals, contributing to the development of international and local standards and accreditation of simulation provision, providing outreach of simulation education to Pacific Islands and local rural areas, liaising and networking with international simulation organisations with common goals and advocating for simulation to improve patient care, education, and research.
