To promote the advancement of education in the arts in particular screen media and cinema by developing and organising an annual film festival in the central region of Aotearoa New Zealand with a wide ranging programme of indigenous, diverse and international cinema, promoting local, national and international filmmakers and educating in the art of film through the participation of audiences and film makers in related discussions and seminars.
