- To develop & support education in the game of chess in New Zealand. - To support tournaments and other chess events with particular emphasis on young players. - To further National and International co-operation in chess by assisting financially or otherwise, the participation by New Zealand chess players in both local and international events. - To develop online tools and resources to provide access to individuals and small businesses - To raise money to build up the Trust Fund.
