Mission
The primary purpose of the Maori reservation is to allow for an Anglican Church site and burial ground for the common use and benefit for the people of the Awanui District. Other purposes include to promote the spiritual development, instruction & guidance of religious services/activities within the Mihingare/Anglican faith and to maintain the traditional values and practices pertaining to Ngāi Takoto.
