To promote the educational, spiritual, economic, social or cultural advancement of the iwi of Hokianga and its various hapu, including providing facilities for those purposes. To undertake charitable activities for the benefit of the communities of Hokianga or for people residing in or having a cultural connection to or identification with Hokianga. To establish a heritage centre to present and protect the oral traditions and taonga of Hokianga, and Hokianga's history, culture and lifestyles.
