Manawatu District Neighbourhood Support Incorporated

Neighbourhood Support Manawatū is a charitable trust and incorporated society, and we are a member organisation of Neighbourhood Support New Zealand. Neighbourhood Support is a nationwide community-led movement that brings people and neighbourhoods together to create safe, resilient and connected communities. In the Manawatū we work closely with Feilding Police, Manawatū District Council, CD Emergency Management and other community & social organisations. We promote connectedness and community safety, educate about crime prevention, and support community leaders to establish and maintain contact lists for their streets and areas. NSM organises an intergenerational Buddy reading group that assists children in local schools.
