Purpose: We aim to empower Aotearoa by fostering a generation of confident, capable, and culturally competent learners. Mission Statement: Our mission is to collaborate with educational institutions and organisations in the health, private, and public sectors to enhance cultural competency and provide expert advisory services. Our focus areas include: We are reviewing organisational policies and procedures for cultural responsiveness and alignment with Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Embedding Mātauranga Māori, te ao Māori, and kaupapa Māori principles. We promote diversity, inclusion, and culturally responsive and relational pedagogies. We are supporting culturally sustaining leadership. We are conducting cultural audits. We actively engage with staff, students, and the wider community to gather insights into cultural practices, identify areas for improvement, and address gaps with professional development and tailored cultural competency training.
