Promote the identification, protection and conservation of all things and places of European heritage value in the area. Inform, advise and educate the public, of the significance of the area’s heritage places. Develop a relationship with Mana Whenua Ngāti Manahiri and with local and central government agencies in conjunction with Heritage NZ and other organisations with similar aims.
