The objectives of the Golden Bay Commmunity Arts Council are: To act as an advocate for the Arts in Golden Bay; To initiate and promote projects and activities that stimulate and strengthen the artistic life of Golden Bay; To inform, advise and support Tasman District Council and Creatiive New Zealand on arts and cultural matters; To foster understanding and operate according to the principles of the Treaty of waitangi; To operate in a co-operative and participatory manner; To be involved in a any purpose in accordance with the other objectives which may be considered appropriate by the GBCAC
