About
The Society is established and maintained exclusively for charitable purposes (including any purposes ancillary to those charitable purposes), namely: a. To promote and encourage tramping and other outdoor activities. b. To protect and encourage the study of native flora and fauna and the natural features of New Zealand. c. To promote high standards of safety in tramping and outdoor activities and encourage a spirit of comradeship and mutual aid. d. To advocate for the protection of National Parks and reserves of all descriptions. e. To maintain a library of literature connected with the purpose of the Club. f. To act upon any matter or thing incidental to or conducive towards the achievement of these Purposes. Any income, benefit, or advantage must be used to advance the charitable purposes of the Society.
