Gisborne International Music Competition Charitable Trust

To hold a trust fund for all or any of the following charitable objects and purposes within New Zealand: • To provide for the advancement of musical education in Gisborne. • To enhance the educational, experiential and career opportunities for young musicians by raising funds, promoting and managing the annual Gisborne International Music Competition. • To enhance the economic and social wellbeing of the Gisborne District by attracting competitors and visitors to the district from other parts of New Zealand and internationally. • To do all things the Trustees consider necessary to directly or indirectly advance the stated charitable objects of the Trust.
