Friends of the Globe Theatre Incorporated

The Friends of the Globe Theatre Inc., the Globe, exists to foster dramatic, musical and theatrical arts both within the society and the community at large, or for any charitable purpose decided upon by its Committee. The Globe also co-operates with any person, association or incorporated body having a similar purpose. Its co-operation may extend to properly constituted civic, educational or recreational organisations from time to time, upon the recommendation of the Committee. An important purpose of the Globe is to be guardian of the premises at 104 London Street, Dunedin; to protect and conserve, as far as is reasonably possible, these premises which is a Category 1 Historic Building by virtue of its architectural and cultural significance to the city of Dunedin.
