a) to implant roses in the hearts and gardens of the people b) to stimulate interest in the culture of roses c) to encourage the establishment and improvement of public rose gardens d) to issue publications, arrange meetings, hold demonstrations, develop rose interest and provide guidance to those growing roses e) to organize the exhibition of roses under rules and regulations best calculated to improve the standard of roses, either alone or in conjunction with other bodies, and to raise funds thereby to further the objects of the society
