To hold funds in perpetuity for the general purpose of the Hawke's Bay Museums Trust to be expended on the maintenance and development of the public museum and art gallery situated in the city of Napier, for the purpose of promoting the study, practice and cultivation of art (in all or any of its branches) and providing the means of instruction to students in any of the several branches.
