(a) to initiate, establish and/or administer a trust fund for the development and promotion of music in New Zealand; (b) to carry out such activities which promote an appreciation the study of music in New Zealand; (c) to carry out such activities which promote the production of musical events in New Zealand; (d) to carry out such activities which advance the study and careers of musicians and teachers of music; and (e) to carry out such other similar charitable purposes determined by the Board.
